The Operations Supervisor understands first-hand how difficult and unpleasant it is to try to clean school restrooms with mops and rags. He used these old-fashioned tools when he began his career at the district as a part-time janitor in 1998. Searching for better results, he and his team tested a single No-Touch Cleaning system.
“I was impressed from the first time I tried it,” he says. “I like the idea of spraying every surface and then extracting the dirt. There is also a noticeable drop in cleaning chemical misuse, a problem that is all too common in the maintenance industry. “There is always potential for an issue any time custodians have to dilute chemicals themselves,” he says. “The Kaivac machines do the mixing for you, so you don’t have to worry.”
